Itinerary

Day 1 – Lake George, NY

Arrive today in Lake George, NY where you enjoy a two-night stay at a local hotel.  Dinner is included this evening at a local restaurant. (D)

Day 2 – Fort William Henry Museum – Lake George Village – Guided Lake George Tour – Lake George Olive Oil Company – Dinner Theatre Option

This morning, visit Fort William Henry Museum and experience life in the 18th century at Fort William Henry during the pivotal year of 1757, as two empires vied for control of the continent.  A uniformed guide will lead you on a tour which includes musket loading and firing demonstration, cannon firing demonstration and a self guided tour of the museum and exhibits.

Next, head to Lake George Village where you enjoy free time for shopping and lunch on own.  There are many unique shops and restaurants located in this walkable village.

The afternoon features a Guided Lake George Tour. Known as the “Queen of the American Lakes,” with its 109 miles of shoreline and 300+ islands, Lake George has been a vacation paradise for almost two centuries! The views surrounding the “beautiful water” are breathtaking, a perfect postcard of Adirondack wilderness.

Then visit the Lake George Olive Oil Company, a unique family-owned business that specializes in the freshest, purest, extra virgin olive oils from around the word.  They offer over 30 different Olive Oils and aged Balsamic Vinegars on tap!

Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or the Lake George Dinner Theatre (available July Oct). (B,D)

Day 3 – Prospect Mountain – Lake George Lunch Cruise – Depart for Home

This morning after breakfast, visit Prospect Mountain.  Take in the spectacular 360 degree, 100-mile view from the 2,030-foot summit of Prospect Mountain.

Then enjoy a Lake George Lunch Cruise.  Enjoy a fabulous luncheon then relax and enjoy the entertainment or head topside to enjoy the fresh air on the outer decks. Cruise by beautiful mountain wilderness areas on the crystal clear waters of Lake George.

Following the cruise, depart for home.  (B,L)
