This morning after breakfast, enjoy a Historical Walking Tour of the US Naval Academy. You’ll enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a midshipman and the rich and tumultuous history of one of the greatest fighting forces on Earth! Discover the rich history of the Military School founded in 1845. Prepare to be wowed. Whether you’re a die-hard Navy fan or new to the seafaring life, there’s something here to captivate every soul. Inspirational stories, lore and interesting tidbits abound.
Lunch will be included today with your visit to the US Naval Academy.
The afternoon features an Annapolis Harbor Cruise. Step aboard the classic Harbor Queen for a narrated cruise of the Annapolis Harbor and the banks of the U.S. Naval Academy. Hear the history of the Naval Academy, Annapolis’ role as a historic seaport, the region’s waterways, and catch a glimpse of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Then take a stroll through the Downtown Annapolis and do a little sightseeing or shopping on your own. This quaint, walkable, historic waterfront town has changed little since its inception in the mid-17th century. 300-year-old buildings now play host to restaurants, pubs, specialty shops, boutiques, art galleries, music venues, and so much more, all within a small area, making it easy to spend time wandering around Annapolis.
The evening features an Annapolis True Crime Storytelling Dinner. Enjoy a delicious dinner and delve into a chilling world of true crime, sinister murder, and a tapestry of twisted tales from Haunted Annapolis’ long and sordid history. (B,D)
