Spend the day in Brandywine Valley, just outside of Philadelphia. Take a tour of Longwood Gardens, one of the world’s premier horticultural display gardens. Enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery and a dinner show at the nearby Candlelight Theatre featuring fine dining and superb musical theatre entertainment.

Christmas at Longwood features magnificently decorated trees, thousands of poinsettias, and fragrant flowers that transform the Conservatory into a holiday wonderland. Outdoors there are more than 500,000 decorative lights framing enchanting fountains. 

Philadelphia is notable for its rich history, on display at the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed) and other American Revolutionary sites. Also iconic are the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, immortalized by Sylvester Stallone’s triumphant run in the film “Rocky.”
